What We Connect

The Business Systems We Connect to Claude and ChatGPT

Enterprise AI integration usually covers six groups of apps and data. As part of our AI implementation services, we check each vendor's official connector or MCP server first, then build a custom server where a team needs one.

CRM

Salesforce, HubSpot and Zoho. Reps ask the assistant for account history, draft follow-ups and update deals, all within their own CRM permissions.

ERP

NetSuite, SAP and Odoo. Operations staff get order status, stock levels and vendor details from live records, with changes held for a person's review.

Finance

QuickBooks, Xero, Stripe and Ramp. The assistant looks up invoices and payments and drafts month-end variance notes, with payments and refunds behind a person's approval.

HR and ATS

Workday, Rippling and Greenhouse. Staff ask policy and onboarding questions and recruiters get pipeline summaries, with employee records following your existing HR access rules.

Support

Zendesk and Intercom. Agents search past tickets, summarize long conversations and draft replies or internal notes that a person reviews and sends.

Files and Data

SharePoint, Google Drive and your own databases. Answers cite the source file or table and follow the sharing rules already set on each one.

Official Connectors

Official Connectors First, Custom MCP Servers for the Rest

A growing number of vendors publish their own MCP server or a connector for Claude and ChatGPT. We start with those, since the vendor maintains them and they follow the vendor's own permission model.

SystemOfficial routeWhat the vendor's documentation describes
HubSpotConnectors for Claude and for ChatGPTBoth respect each user's HubSpot permissions. The Claude connector supports view, create and update actions, and a Super Admin approves it.
SalesforceSalesforce Hosted MCP ServersClaude, ChatGPT and other compatible clients connect with per-user OAuth 2.0 and PKCE, within each user's access.
StripeRemote MCP server, a Claude connector and a ChatGPT pluginSign-in through OAuth or agent API keys. Stripe asks a person to confirm certain actions, such as a refund, in the Stripe Dashboard.
IntercomRemote MCP server hosted by IntercomOAuth sign-in with a consent step, plus tools for Help Center articles and internal notes on conversations.
NetSuiteNetSuite AI Connector Service, built on MCPStandard tools through the MCP Standard Tools SuiteApp, with the option to build your own. Claude needs the Pro plan or higher.
XeroXero MCP Server in Xero's XeroAPI GitHub repository, MIT licenceConnects through a Xero custom connection or a bearer token.

Details come from each vendor's own documentation, checked in October 2026. For Claude, we add connectors as part of a Claude Team and Enterprise rollout; for ChatGPT, as part of a ChatGPT Business and Enterprise rollout. Anthropic also lists QuickBooks, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 among the connectors in Claude for Small Business.

Custom MCP Servers

MCP Server Development for In-House and Industry Systems

Some systems have no published MCP server yet: an in-house database, an older ERP, or an industry tool with a REST API. Recruiting CRMs such as Bullhorn and Loxo come up often, and we check each vendor's current options before writing code. A custom MCP server wraps your existing API, exposes only the tools a team needs and runs on infrastructure you control.

What We Build

A custom MCP server shaped around one team's work.

Each server follows the MCP authorization rules and ships with tests, a tool list your admins approve, and documentation your engineers can maintain.

Permissions

Per-User Permissions and Read-Only Defaults

Every MCP implementation we set up runs under each person's own login and starts read-only, so the assistant sees what that person already sees.

1

Each Person Signs In

Users connect with their own account through OAuth. In Claude, once an Owner adds a custom connector to the org, each user connects individually, and Owners can switch off specific tool calls.

2

Read-Only to Start

We turn on search and read tools first. Write tools follow one at a time, once the team has checked the assistant's answers against the source system.

3

Writes Wait for Approval

Create and update tools ask a person before they run. Stripe adds its own check, holding certain actions, such as a refund, until a person approves them in the Stripe Dashboard.

4

Example: HubSpot

A Super Admin approves HubSpot's Claude connector and chooses its data scopes. Each rep connects their own login and works within their HubSpot permissions. The connector leaves out custom Sensitive Data properties, has no delete action, and HubSpot recommends setting its write tools to Needs Approval.

Logging

Call Logs and a Self-Hosted MCP Gateway

When several assistants call several systems, a gateway gives your team one place to sign people in, set tool scopes and record every call.

Each vendor keeps its own records: Stripe shows MCP tool call logs in its Workbench, and Claude Enterprise adds audit logs. For one record of who called which tool in which system, we deploy a self-hosted MCP gateway in your cloud account or on your own servers. It signs users in through your identity provider, applies per-team tool allowlists and keeps the call logs with your company.

Every connection follows the MCP security guidance: each server validates that an access token was issued for it, token passthrough is explicitly forbidden, and per-client consent guards against confused-deputy requests.

Open-source gateways

IBM ContextForge and agentgateway, both Apache-2.0, support OpenTelemetry. Docker MCP Gateway, under the MIT licence, adds logging and call tracing for servers in containers.

We choose the gateway that fits your stack and send its traces to the monitoring tools you already run.

Scope

What Shapes an AI Integration Engagement

Five things set the size of an AI integration consulting engagement. We map each one in the strategy session and quote against a defined scope.

Number of systems

Each system adds its own sign-in, scopes and tests. Two systems for one team is a smaller build than eight across the company.

Official or custom connectors

Turning on a vendor's connector is mostly configuration and testing. A custom MCP server adds design, code, tests and hosting.

Data sensitivity

Payroll, health or client records call for tighter scopes, redaction and logging, and sometimes a self-hosted model so prompts stay in your network.

Identity provider

Okta, Entra ID or Google Workspace sign-in shapes how people connect and how access ends when someone leaves.

Write actions

Read-only access is the lighter build. Each write tool adds an approval step, test cases and an owner on your side who signs off on it.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions on AI Integration Services

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open protocol that lets an AI assistant or agent call tools in another system through an MCP server. MCP integration connects Claude, ChatGPT or your own agents to your CRM, ERP or database that way, through the vendor's official server or a custom one we build. Its authorization for HTTP connections is based on OAuth 2.1.

Pricing for our AI integration and AI implementation services follows the five factors above: systems, official or custom connectors, data sensitivity, identity provider and write actions. We quote against a defined scope after a strategy session. The vendors bill seats directly: Anthropic lists Claude Team Standard at $20 per seat per month billed annually, and OpenAI lists ChatGPT Business Standard at $20 per user per month billed annually.

Yes. We build MCP servers for in-house databases, older ERPs and industry tools with an API. Each one exposes only the tools a team needs, starts read-only, adds write tools behind approval and ships with code, tests and deployment notes. For recruiting CRMs such as Bullhorn or Loxo, we check the vendor's connector options first.

Anthropic's pricing page lists model training on Claude Team and Enterprise content as "None by default", and OpenAI's business pricing page states "No training on your business data by default" for ChatGPT Business. For records that must stay in your network, we connect the same MCP servers to self-hosted models through an LLM gateway.

Agents built in Copilot Studio can call MCP servers, so a server we build for Claude or ChatGPT can also serve a Copilot Studio agent. We apply the same per-user sign-in, read-only defaults and write approvals for each client.
